Species / Ectinochilus Gaudichaudi
Stromboidea
Types: A thorough search through the collections in Paris did not reveal any possible type material. The type material must therefore be considered lost. (Griffin & Nielsen, 2008)

Comments
- This species is known from late Eocene sediments of northern Peru (Olsson, 1928) and southern Peru (DeVries, 2004).
- Since the siphonal canal has never been observed completely preserved, the generic assignment remains tentative (DeVries, 2004).
