Original Description of Rostellaria mutabilis by Mayer-Eymar, 1888:

  • "R. testa ovato-oblonga; spira conica, apice acuta; anfractibus circ. decenis, primis senis plano-convexis, variculosis. alteris angustis, angulatis, scalariformibus; ultimo anfractu maximo, ad suturam angulato, dorso applanato, antice sensim attenuato; apertura oblonga; labro vix expanso, postice rimam brevissimam marginante. Long. 63, lat. 28 millim."
