• Strombus? dallianus White, 1887

Original Description of Strombus? dallianus by White, 1887, p. 171:

• "Concha pequena; regiao apicial larga na base e estreita na parte terminal; voltas em numero de sete ou mais, convexas; o bordo distal de cada volta ligeiramente comprimido, a ultima e a penultima volta augmentando rapidamente de diametro; a ultima volta bojuda e estreitando-se anteriormente; labio externo volvido para dentro; abertura muito estreita no meio, mas terminando posteriormente em um largo, aberto e curto canal posterior ou entalhe, que é marginado no lado externopor uma projeccao posterior do labio externo, e no lado interno por uma estreita e proeminente collosidade situada contra a espira, esta callosidade attingindo mais de metade do comprimento da espira; regiao anterior da abertura e do labio externo desconhecida, mas o entalhe na base da columella é muito estreito. Superficie apparentemente lisa na ultima volta, mas, vistas com lente, as voltas da espira mostram pequenas varizes longitudinaes indistinctes."
• "Shell small, its immediate apex blunt and its terminal portion narrow, convex; the distal border of each volution slightly appressed; the ultimate and penultimate volutions rapidly increasing in diameter; the last one inflated and narrowed anteriorly; outer lip inverted; aperture very narrow along its middle, but terminating posteriorly in a broad, open, short posterior canal or notch, which is bordered upon the outer side by a posterior projection of the outer lip, and upon the inner side by a narrow, prominent accumulation of callus against the spire; this callus reaching up more than half the length of the spire; anterior portion of the aperture and of the outer lip unknown, but the notch at the base of the columella is very narrow. Surface apparently plain for the last volution, but under a lens the volutions of the spire show small indistinct longitudinal varices."
