Original description of Tibia (Amplogladius) miniaensis by Abbass, 1967:

  • "Specimen medium, fusiform internal moId; spire gradatedly conical consisting of 3 slightly convex whorls with narrow posterior shoulder; last whorl specimen height with convex sides converging anteriorly; ornament and aperture not preserved"

Locus typicus: Al-Minya, Minya Governorate, upper Egypt

Stratum typicum: middle Eocene

Dimensions: Spire angle 40, height 50 mm, whorl height 9 mm, whorl width 19 mm
