Original Description by Zinsmeister & Griffin, 1995:
- "Medium-sized, strong, but variably ornamented with wavy nodose, axial ribs; outer lip expanded into a wing with two well-developed, subequal digitations with the posterior one being slightly longer; siphonal canal sharply curved away from aperture, sometimes bifurcate."
