Original description of Rostellaria dyonisea by Buvignier, 1852

  • "R. testâ turritâ, elongatâ, fusiformi, tenuiter striatâ, longitudinaliter costatâ; costis ad suturas evanescentibus; anfractibus in medio subcarinatis; carinâ in ultimo anfractu majore; labro expanso, palmalo, tridactylo? Vel tetradactylo? canali recto, elongato."
  • "Coquille turriculée, allongée, fusiforme, finement striée transversalement; tours de spire convexes, subcarénés, ornes de côtes longitudinales plus saillantes vers le milieu; carène plus prononcée sur le dernier tour; bord droit palmé, à trois ou quatre digitations; canal droit et allongé."
