Comment Guido Poppe: "This is in my opinion a valid species, as we got a reasonable number of specimen and a thriving colony is in the area here [Philippines]. However, it is a matter of opinion if one wants to consider it a hybrid between Lambis lambis and L. millepeda or a valid species."
