Original Description of Alaria pagoda by Morris & Lycett, 1851:

  • "Testa turrita; anfractibus numerosis, in medio carinato-crenatis, ultimo bicarinato; carinis tuberculatis; anfractibus transverse striatis; striis duabus prominentibus suturam approximantibus. Ala magna, expansa, in digitos duobus producta, digitis parvis, cauda brevissima."
