Description from Jung, 1974: Of large size, slender. Spire high; apex moderately pointed. Number of whorls three to four. Outer and inner lips not preserved. Columella slightly twisted near base. Holotype in Naturhistorische Museum Basel n. H14374, height 71,8 mm. Locus typicus: Chapelton formation, Jellow Limestone Group of Jamaica.
