Original description from Jung, 1974: Of medium size, slender. Protoconch consists of 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 whorls. Postnuclear whorls 2 1/2 to 3. Surface smooth. Callus of inner lip well developed. Outer lip not thickened. Posterior canal bent in an antispiral direction, usually not extending directly to the apex. Columella bent backwards near base. Outer lip does not reach down to the level of the base of the columella. Holotype: Naturhistorisches Museum Basel, No. H15409. Size 28.7 mm.
