Original Description of Rostellaria anserina by Nilsson, 1827, p. 13:

  • "R. testa fusiformi-turrita, apice acuta, anfractu ultimo subventricoso, in medio carinato, inferius sulcato; labro palmato superne spirae adnato, extus in dÝgitos tres acutos diviso; canali baseos recto. (Tab. III. fig. б.)"
  • Comment Nilsson, 1827, p. 13: "Hujus speciei nucleorum & impressionum non nisi specimina fracta & incompleta invenimus, quae tamen satis monstrant ad quod genus pertineant. Cum vero, quantum scimus nulla hucusque hujus generis species inventa sit in formatione cretacea, haud ineptum aut superfluum judicavimus, quae invenimus, quamvis incompleta, publici juris facere. - Cum icon citata jam depicta esset, integriora specimina nobis oblata sunt."
