Description from Jung, 1974: Of medium size, moderately slender. Spire moderately high, evolute. Surface smooth. Columella almost straight. Suture well marked, bordered by a band of callus which is continuous with the callus of the inner lip. Outer lip slightly thickened. Lectotype (herewith selected). Rijksmuseum van Geologie en Mineralogie, Leiden, No. St. 10339. Dimensions of lectotype. Height 28.0 mm
