Description of Conchothyra parasitica by Hutton, 1893:
Remark: It was actually named by McCoy in ~ 1870, but without a description, so it was in effect a nomen nudum for a while. Hutton gave a description as a footnote in the 1877 publication and then subsequently published a second one in 1893. ![]() Conchothyra parasitica in Hutton, 1893; Copyright Royal Society of New Zealand / National Library of New Zealand History and Synonymy 1917 ![]() Conchothyrica parasitica McCoy in Trechman, 1917, pl.
