Strombus aldrichi is a synonym of Persististrombus aldrichi (Dall, 1890)
Comments:
- The placement of S. aldrichi into Strombus is questionable. According to Dall, 1890, it is related to Lentigo.
- Jung & Heitz, 2001 mentioned the similarity of the early teleoconch whorls to support this relation, and the character of the body whorl to reject it.
- Kronenberg & Lee, 2007 place S. aldrichi into Persististrombus
